Passionate about building meaningful connections within the design and construction community, she brings a collaborative and people-centered approach to both professional practice and community engagement. With a background in architecture and project management, her experience includes Kâ12 institutional, federal, and public works projects throughout California, with a focus on thoughtful coordination, clear communication, and projects that serve the public good.
She earned both her Bachelor of Architecture and Master of City and Regional Planning degrees from California Polytechnic State University, where her studies emphasized urban design, sustainable environments, community design methods, and the long-term impact of the built environment on everyday life.
Her interests in architecture extend deeply into historic preservation, particularly Roadside Americana and Mid-Century Modern residential and commercial design. She has presented seminars exploring architectural history, design culture, and the contributions of women in architecture, helping elevate underrecognized voices and stories within the profession.
An active leader within AIA California Central Coast, she currently serves as Associates Director and previously served as Membership Director, where she helped expand interdisciplinary engagement through mixers, partnerships, and community-focused programming. She is especially committed to creating welcoming pathways for students, associates, and emerging professionals, fostering opportunities for connection, mentorship, and professional growth.
Outside of work, she produces local events that celebrate design, culture, and community, bringing people together through shared experiences and a strong sense of place..
